Welcome to my homepage! My name is Zizheng (Barry) Zhao. I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at the University of Connecticut, and I will be on the academic job market in 2025–2026. 

Prior to beginning my Ph.D. studies at the University of Connecticut, I earned an M.S. in Financial Risk Management from the University of Connecticut, and a B.S. in Physics from Zhejiang University. 

My research interests lie in empirical corporate finance, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, climate risk, regulations, and capital structure.
